So last update I mentioned I was busy in programming tests looking for a new job. Well, my lack of communications is mostly due to the fact I succeeded at this search and landed a job with Codemasters, working on DiRT 3!
As such, I had to relocate, and have been working through synchronizing myself with a new workplace and new codebase, hence radio silence online pertaining to any personal work. However, that should hopefully change over the coming holidays, as I’m throwing myself into completing up some old code-work that I resurrected as part of my job-hunt, and hope to have something to show (if simple) in the new years
Working through lots of programming tests at the moment, varying from string reversal samples, boggle solves to full applications! Thought I’d drop a nice screenshot of a cross-platform realtime Ray Tracer I started work on for one of these technical tests
So shortly after making all the fuss about losing my job and intending to do great things with my newly acquired free time, I dropped into relative silence. So what’s the deal?
Well, I can safely say it’s all good news! I’m actually currently swamped with interviews and technical tests, so no time to work on portfolio pieces, as you can imagine A few of the technical tests may lend themselves back to PP++ and other things in the future though!
